Greetings from Latvia!

Without doubt, heated debates and smashing parties are the best way to deal with early December’s cold weather. We, SSE Riga & LMT Debate Society, are happy to invite you to SSE Riga & LMT IV 2011 – the oldest and one of the most prestigious debate championships in Central and Eastern Europe. Run for the thirteenth time this year, SSE Riga & LMT IV is renowned for its terrific atmosphere and will be a great tournament for both beginners and experienced debaters.

Challenging motions and high quality of judging are our top priorities, so we have gathered some of the world’s best adjudicators to ensure a fair competition and help all participants boost their debating skills. In addition, we want you to love our city as much as we do, so get ready for an amazing pub tour around Riga and a spectacular closing party where you will understand what the term “party hard” really means.
