SSE Riga IV 2009 is over. We had two days of challenging and high level debating, great semis and finals, and awesome socials. I hope you enjoyed the tournament, and I would be happy to see you the next year. I would like to express special thanks to the adjudicating panel and the CA for good motions and well thought decisions that no one ever complained about.

Dear all

The registration for the tournament is over now. The initial cap of 32 teams was over long time ago, so we worked to extend it. Now 44 teams are going to take part in the SSE Riga IV 2009.

I am looking forward to seeing you all in Riga soon. In the beginning of the next week you are going to receive an information package with all you need to know about getting to Riga, your accommodation, the tournament etc.

Dear Mr. Speaker, Ladies and Gentlemen!

It’s my pleasure to stand for the proposition today and defend the motion “THB that you should come to SSE Riga IV”. Let me first introduce our plan.

Our plan is to organize an outstanding debating tournament on 11 and 12 of December. All debaters from all countries are welcome.

Now let me move to my arguments. I defend my case by 3 main points:

1. SSE Riga IV is the oldest and one of the most prestigious debating tournaments in the Central and Eastern Europe.
2. We have gathered a superb adjudication panel.
3. We will have amazing socials.

For all these reasons I am proud to stand for the proposition today, and I am looking forward to seeing you in Riga.
